Kia ora! I'm Julian, the proud owner of Starlight. I founded my company in early 2023, starting from scratch and gradually building it up to a 1.5-ton package. Being one of the youngest gaffers in New Zealand, the incredible passion I’ve developed for lighting has already provided some wonderful opportunities, such as having gaffed a catalyst short film. I pride myself on my work ethic, which both my peers and my clients can attest to. My goal is to be on every DP’s shortlist to gaff TV shows and movies.
